Founded in 2013, EQ Technologies' original location was a residential Smart Home dedicated to showcasing the latest in audio, video, smart home, and surveillance technologies. Also at the cutting edge of energy efficiency; it became the first in Ohio to be certified by the Passive House Institute of the US.

In 2021, EQ moved locations to North Ridgeville which allowed for open retail hours, along with a larger and more innovative space.

SUPPORT AND SERVICE

EQ Technologies is committed to delivering reliable and professional support services in accordance with prevailing industry standards. Standard support hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time). Additional support beyond these hours may be available through an enhanced service agreement, which will be governed by a separate written agreement offering expanded and prioritized service tailored to the client’s ongoing needs.

WORKMANSHIP AND WARRANTIES

EQ Technologies warranties the quality and integrity of its workmanship for a period of sixty (60) calendar days commencing from the date of substantial completion of the project. During this sixty (60) day period, EQ Technologies shall, at no additional labor cost to the client, correct any deficiencies directly related to the installation or programming of products purchased from EQ Technologies. This limited workmanship warranty does not extend to, and EQ Technologies shall bear no responsibility for failures or malfunctions arising from: (i) user error or negligence; (ii) misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance; (iii) acts of nature, including but not limited to lightning, power surges, or other power-related issues; (iv) third-party installation, service, or modification; (v) any item or equipment not sold or provided by EQ Technologies; or (vi) failures related to utility services, internet service providers, or electrical infrastructure outside the control of EQ Technologies. All hardware supplied by EQ Technologies is covered exclusively under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary in scope and duration depending on the product. EQ Technologies will, during the initial sixty (60) day period, coordinate the service and/or re-installation of covered in-warranty or out-of-warranty items at no labor charge. The client, however, shall remain responsible for any costs associated with replacement hardware, parts, or materials not covered by manufacturer warranty or subject to limited coverage. Eligibility for complimentary re-installation is contingent upon all replacement or serviced items being purchased directly through EQ Technologies. Any equipment procured from third parties or not approved by EQ Technologies shall not be eligible for no-cost service under this warranty. EQ Technologies reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether defective equipment will be repaired or replaced, and with what materials. Such materials may be new, serviced, or equivalent in performance and value, as deemed appropriate by EQ Technologies.  Unless expressly agreed to in writing, EQ Technologies provides no warranties beyond those stated. Any and all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed in full to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. In no event shall EQ Technologies be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities, arising out of or relating to the failure or performance of any equipment, system, or service covered or not covered under this limited warranty.
 

PRICING DISCLAMER

At EQ Technologies, we are committed to providing transparent and competitive pricing for all our products and services. While we make every effort to maintain stable pricing, certain economic factors such as inflation, tariffs, and supply chain disruptions may impact the cost and availability of industry-standard equipment and materials. Although all pricing provided in quotes, proposals, or agreements reflects our best estimates at the time of issuance, we cannot guarantee long-term price stability due to these external and unpredictable conditions. As such, pricing is subject to change at the time of procurement or invoicing based on current market realities. Please be assured that EQ Technologies will make every reasonable effort to minimize the impact of any price increases and will work proactively to source cost-effective solutions wherever possible. In the event that adjustments are necessary, we will communicate changes promptly and transparently. We appreciate your understanding and ongoing partnership as we navigate these industry-wide challenges together.

 

RETURN POLICY

All sales of hardware, software, and services by EQ Technologies are considered final and non-refundable. Returns will only be accepted if prior written authorization has been granted by both parties before the order is placed. Any exceptions to this policy must be detailed in a mutually signed agreement or addendum prior to purchase. Clients are encouraged to consult with EQ Technologies prior to placing any order to ensure the suitability and compatibility of products for their intended use. EQ Technologies remains available for consultation and clarification to support informed purchasing decisions.
